I think all automakers are thinking that as long as the HP & Torque numbers are there all the alternates (including electric) will keep the consumer happy. For us traditional types, sad times ahead….

I'm not completely opposed to smaller engines with forced induction, I love the Cadillac line of twin turbocharged V6 engines. Although, driving several examples of the Buick Encore GX with the turbocharged 1.3-liter 3-cylinder makes me long for the days of the Series II 3800. |
