As far as the claims, I have no idea where the 1 of 27 number comes from (probably somebody’s registry from decades ago). “Date coded wheels” I’d like to hear more about, because they’re not correct KH units. Original KH rims have the welded center sections that are almost solid appearing, with the “vents” between the center and the hoop are just scalloped cutouts around the perimeter, not the stamped, contoured vents I see on the right front in that picture. Looks decent but everything would have to be dialed in for me to write a check for $40k+.

I agree and was waiting for someone else to point it out, those are not the original "hi po" wheels. The wheels on the red 62 that someone posted for comparison are not correct either. This might be a good discussion to have considering what the wheels sell for. Might keep a member here from getting the shaft.

This a photo of the 15" "hi po" wheel on my 61 Starliner, as far as I know the 62 wheels were the same.
