Unladen weight on a car title may be based upon "base model" numbers.

In OK, the "factory delivered price" on old titles is definitely based on base model. My old Z/28 title showed factory delivered price as $2727. Has to do with minimum excise tax; and I suspect that the weight figure in Arkansas had a similar function.

I don't see any reason there couldn't have been a COPO El Camino in 1969. L-78 was available.

Again, COPO Camaros AND Chevelles have no SS emblems. Why would one expect SS emblems on a COPO El Camino?
