My opinion is to correct the car by removing the stripes. It is a survivor and should be returned to as close as original as possible.

im one of the weirdo's that prefers a 70 without stripes especially black. that being said i feel like it would be a hassle to go through and the car still sit. If you had someone ready to buy and said i wont until theyre removed then so be it.

I think 75% of the buyers will not know that a Chevelle SS could be ordered stripes delete.
I don't think I have ever heard someone say I wish it had no stripes. |

Knowing the stripes were added and after seeing the car in person, I thought it looked great as is. I wouldn't mess with it, it's all part of the car's history.
