Hi Jim, looks to be remnants of the silver - I didn't fluff these at all, save for lightly brushing the threads a little to inspect. Whatever blue paint was on them whenever, likely helped to preserve some of it.
However, these were just sold. I'll look for some more. Cheers all, Anthony |
