For me it was "I'm a Believer",was written by Neil Diamond I think.

Yep. I saw Neil years ago and he did a group of songs that he wrote, that were made famous by other performers. I'm a Believer was one of them. Neil was quite the song writer.

The Monkees influenced what we wore and how we looked in grade school. When our hair got too long the teachers would tell us to have it cut by the time we came to class the next day.
The barbers would always try to take off more than you wanted because the kids parents would send them back for more to be taken off. That was radical behavior for us in the 60’s..
