I previously owned a very stock 1970 Barracuda 318 3 speed Coupe with the fixed rear quarter windows. Flat hood as mentioned. Oddly enough, everything to make it a functioning window was installed at the factory except the regulator and window crank. They put a chrome plug in the inner quarter panel trim panel to fill the hole and added a stop on the window tracks to keep the glass from sliding down. I added the regulators and cranks and voila, working windows (bonus of mint glass without any whisker scratches).

Always wondered how much of a true savings was there for the factory to keep a couple oddball parts on hand for installation in a small group of cars instead of the common regulator and window crank?
