I recently towed to NC for the Carolina Chevelle Club show at Hendrick. Diesel ranged 3.38 in East TN to 3.64 in IL (of course!). I only fuel at Love's when on the road.

I stay in Waterloo or Cedar Falls at least once a month Bill, I'll PM you my # and stop by next time I'm in town if you're up for some bench racing.
