----That intake is cast iron! I'm not especially educated on 71 Z's but it should be the same as 70, correct???......Bill S

Absolutely, different casting numbers but basically the same intake.

Yes, 72 and earlier Z28's all came with aluminum intakes from the factory. 73 and later had cast iron.
