Couple more newbie questions. My car doesn't have a windshield...is that going to be an issue with the track personnel ? I have the door glass in, if they need to write a number somewhere.

When I get there Thursday, are we just going to the hotel and gathering there ? I should be in around noon.

Sorry for the questions. Next year, I won't be as naive...

Really? I am not trying to be a jerk....but I do not know of any Drag Strip in American that would pass you for no front windshield....if you are seriously wanting to race. I would put a front windshield in....I know you only a have a few days.

Windshield is not really an option. The dash and interior needs to be painted, for the third time, hopefully the correct color and gloss, before I'll install the glass. Not doing that for 1 day and remove it.
Not sure why it would be required, Wild Willie never had a windshield...

Guess I'll bring the Impala then.

That is a no brainier....why sacrifice a perfect restoration...just for the sake of going down a drag strip. Finish the restoration the correct way and bring it next year.

Without a windshield you will most likely need harness with arm restraints and maybe even a window net.

Thursday evening is a meet and greet in the motel parking lot area and Jason's great BBQ...
