The RS/SS Camaro in the previous post and our Z/28 are 2 different colors. The Azure Blue is an Olds Buick color I believe, which is shown on the RS/SS in the previous post. The 2 Carolina Blue Z/28s (our Z/28 and the one that sold at Mecum in 2014) is actually a GMC color.

Great looking Z, the stripes help set it off.
That color is super difficult to photograph which is why you see various shades of it in various lighting. My Chevelle is factory Carolina Blue and almost every time I take a picture of it (with an old camera) it turns the color almost white in the photographs. Can't really get a good photo of it unless the lighting is almost dark or shaded. The more light it's exposed to the lighter the color gets. Interesting that a dealer in VA would order a car in a Tar Heel color. My Chevelle was ordered at Modern Chevrolet in Winston Salem NC.
