I, too, am surprised on the price. Like they say, it only takes two to have a bidding war at an auction! It is correct that this car was advertised on this site last year by me. I did sell it. It is a very nice, very correct, nice docs no BS car. As with any car there were some items that were wrong/changed/so on.
The new owner did take it to the next level with additional work, parts and $$. All in all, I was very impressed with the outcome. In regards to the photo of the engine VIN stamping, it is just showing the stamping is present in the rough cast. Those pages are from information I put together on the car and it went with the car. Guess I just wanted to defend the car I was the caretaker of for awhile!!! |

Yes you are correct. The black numbers are not on the block. As you know seeing and photographing those #s in cast is difficult. The original photo in the numbers book I put together shows it better.
