If you ordered the 400, was the 4 speed the standard trans? (Auto was an option?)

It must have been-but 4 speed is called out on the shipper. PHS docs were ordered in the mid 80s.

Original paint etc. W72, 4-speed, Blue velour interior, T-tops, but NO WS6 ![]() My black car was also not a SE, just Starlight Black, but no T-tops, no hood bird or power options or AC, Just W72 and WS6, Born to Run. The bulletin came out in March - if you wanted an automatic you got the 'lesser' 400 engine, the 180 horse unit, from March 20 on in.
