Default 1972 Motion Performance Chevelle Engine Update

I want to provide an update for the first week in March.

Today, I picked up the engine from the machine shop and everything was in great shape. The engine was honed, boiled, cam bearing installed and freeze out plugs replaced. The crank, rods and pistons were are cleaned and checked against factory specifications. All clearances and specs were perfect with the block. The heads were machined to align to factory specifications with new springs, retainers and clips.

Over the next 2 weeks, the engine will be assembled to meet the Motion build requirements. It will be the same as what was delivered to (Bob) the original car owner in December 1971. I’m very excited to put this car back on the road to its former state as it was the only 1972 Chevelle built by Motion. More to come on this project over the next several weeks.

Regards, Mark
