The concern I have with copper is the fuel gauge that is mounted on the hood.
Every time the hood opens and closes the copper gets work hardened. Thanks for all the replies!

I'm going to use copper on my Sun Oil pressure gauge but going to use Autometer tiny stainless braied line 3an line for my fuel pressure gauge that will be mounted on the cowl.
I'm going to cover both lines witth the chrome wrap that was super popular in the 1970's. The engine vibration and fuel line with copper gives me an uneasy feeling.
