Use a really good spring compressor. I did on my 70 Z project. You can’t believe how long those front coils are! Off the top of my head, I can’t remember the brand, but it has plates that go in the coils, not hooks. I started with an older spring compressor with hooks, and it scared me! Went out and bought the best compressor I could find.

I need one, the one I have is for Chevelles and its to big to go in the A frame shock opening for my Camaro. Any help on where to buy one would be great. Thanks in advance
