I just bought the almost gallon can of Berryman Chem Dip from auto parts store.
I did my Holley 7B3 4053 with it. Not harsh at all. Dipped parts for about 15-20 minutes. Easily cleaned carbon etc. off with a small brush. Washes off with water. Original plating still intact. Parts came out very nice. I removed the old gaskets first. I read where it does not remove the old gasket material but I did not try that. Before and After pics.
