Thanks, there are a few Guys doing great work also (Jerry, Kevin & Mike doing these also) they are a pain & pool of cores is tough. I spend a LOT of time on them and developed sources and tech to refurbish even the nastyist of housings, but Pits a Pits not much to do about that other than try to polish it out. Rust is rust by any color. Blems are Rust housing plated so the surface finish is just not Prime, acceptable just not perfect. Beats 500$ NOS w/o Proper plating. [Opinion]
I have a RARE set of U46 housings Done but a Trade (Core swap) is Mandatory for the Fiber Set as the special-Grommet is unobtanium! Jim
