But I like those! and the white interior. :-) And it would have cost around 1/2 of the price of the elastomeric bumpers to get the original chrome bumpers rechromed properly. With a "unknown" wait time since all the decent chrome shops were closed. Last edited by njsteve; 08-16-2020 at 01:42 AM. |

The body color bumpers are killer! VE3 is the first upgrade I make to every 69 Camaro I buy.

I'll start another thread on that one! We'll keep this thread Crustified! I didn't like those bumpers originally, but now that they are on they do look sharp! Good call Steve-O! She's back into the small shop for another round of polishing. Cheers Dave |

BTW, Dave, be prepared if you start on a 69 Judge with hideaways. That's the car my son wants as "our" next project. ;-) |

As of today, the Crusty Cuda thread will henceforth and forthwit be narrated by NJSteve. It's a festivous day, indeed! With bumpers painted, a fresh go over with the buffer, and skill/ precision/ ninja handling, the car is loaded up and headed Norf. Steve and I agreed that I'd have this car back to him in August and initially I told him "Heck yeah, man!" Then after I figured out that August was the hottest month of the year here with a daily high of a billion degrees, I emailed him and said "No freaking way man!" Then the sniffles hit, the nation got scared and bought all toilet paper since when someone sneezed it caused a reaction for one to crap their pants, and found I had a lot of time at home to get things done. See? You gotta find a positive in everything! So I can happily report I made the deadline! You're up, Steve-O! I'm anxious to see that white interior. That'll POP!!! Email this evening comin' in HOT! Cheers Dave |
