Yes you could buy a 73 Z28 without a radio of any kind. Of the approx. 97,000 Camaros produced in 1973 only a little over 86,000 had a radio of any kiind in it. Also if you didn’t order a radio you didn’t get the windshield antenna. Out of all the 2nd Gen Camaros I have owned or seen, I have only seen one without the windshield antenna, and it was a Z28.

Nope, re-read what I posted.....no stereo radios or tape players from the factory in any 73 Camaro. Factory options were limited to either a pushbutton AM radio or a pushbutton AM-FM (monaural) radio. Single rear speaker was also an option with either radio. The 73 Z28 that I bought new had the U69 AM-FM ($135.00) and the U80 Rear Speaker ($15.00) options.
