i cleaned mine up by hand.....2000 grit and some hours on the rouge wheel with brown rouge. im very happy with the results

Those look great. That's an interesting paint job on that oil pan.

OK, I didn't like that empty space in the center of the valve cover, so I made a set of these to go there.

I have a pair of aluminum valve covers that I lightly blasted, then painted with high heat ceramic engine paint (dull silver) out of a rattle can. Cooked them in the oven at 450 degrees for an hour. They have been on the car for 8 years and still look cherry.

The vintage RW&B painted big block belongs to my friends car. He still owns it. That photo was taken at Fishers Big Wheel dept store automotive dept where he was manager 1973
