| Four port smog canister

I have a four port smog canister and I am wondering what the application and value of this piece is. I was told it's for a 70 Camaro or Chevelle. Just looking for some direction. Thanks in advance for any info.

I don't think that's for a 70 as 1970 models with the NA9 California Emissions’ Evaporation Control System had 3 ports, (See Photo) Might be later like 1971 or 1972 so value may be low IMO

I believe 1970 Camaro's with Holley carbs (Z28, L78) and NA9 California emissions got the 4 port. All others got 3 ports. A little hard to see the top in this photo, but you can see the 4 hoses going to it: http://musclecarrestorationanddesign...01_300/229.jpg Thanks to Rick Nelson for the photo. If you are interested in selling I may know of someone.

Actually my bad, Re checked my files and it looks like the solid lifter motors with a Holley carb had a 4 port system while the Q-Jet carb got the 3 port system. Sorry about that. Photo is from a 1970 Magazine of a LS6 Road test.
