I didn't have so pleasant of an interaction with Dan. It was bad enough that I don't give out my phone number anymore.

The date on the appeal verdict is 11/27/19
I am kind of shocked he was charged with obstruction. In N.C. - cases i have known friends involved with, refusal normally just leads directly to an automatic conviction and loss of license. Its usually cheaper that way. But a few more complications on getting license reinstated when time comes. Supposing he must have really put on a show at the DUI processing center or during the whole fiasco start to finish. They put some extra nails in his butt for being "difficult". The obstruction conviction seems even more burdensome than a DUI conviction. I'm not a lawyer in any capacity Its just an eye-opener to me. And i have some good questions at the next "biker lawyer" free seminar Q&A. Very Sorry that all these things have happened to this fellow. Push and Shove with government entities is a terrible place to land. |
