My pet peeve is the amount of orange peel in the paint. Flagship car for Chevrolet with it's own paint line setup. Spend money on better paint.

I don't think it's the paint but the process. It's impossible to get perfect paint on a mass production car. Cars like Ferrari and Lambos can have someone color sand the paint if there's any imperfection or orange peel because they don't have hundreds of them coming down the line every day.

fwiw, the paint is much better than it used to be. It improved when they built the new paint shop a couple of years ago. Orange peel is still there but it has been reduced.
