 It takes 50 pounds of dye to turn the Chicago River green. The dye lasts five hours and is one of the most recognizable ways Americans celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The river was first dyed green in 1962.

 The racing Boss 302's did not use Mustang front disc brakes which were single piston calipers and were not up to the rigors of racing. Instead, they used Lincoln 4 piston calipers and Lincoln ventilated rotors for better cooling. Ford Parts did offer a rear wheel disc brake kit but because it was never an option on the Boss 302, it couldn't be used in SCCA Trans Am racing.
