Thanks for the update and very cool Tom's still got the truck, what of any of his cars? I posted this great Jacobson family pic in a past thread but forgot about it 'til you mentioned Tom's name and just found it in my old confuser. ![]() ~ Pete .

Not sure on that 70 Camaro on the truck but he had an L78 Nova and a 68 (as I recall) Camaro L78 he bought new and ran in ProStock. Both amazing time capsules. Not sure how many 62 Chevys, a bunch. From unmolested originals to nicely restored.
He was telling us of the issues with putting them on the road in California, having to pay all the past years of registrations to make it current. No big deal on a car that's been sitting five years but for dozens of cars that in many cases haven't been registered since the 60's it is. I think that is the main reason for the move. Also that is indeed the same truck , friend says... "Tom and Linda drove one of James Garners L88 Corvettes to Florida from California for the Daytona 24hour race in 1968" Last edited by TomP; 01-19-2020 at 11:24 PM. |
