I believe Phil (70COPO ??? not sure of his name here) has some contacts with Norwood workers. Seems I remember him posting a reason provided by one of those workers.

My theory is that there was some random dude at the plant with a can of white spray paint who thought he would give us all something to debate 50 years down the road.
