Never heard that. What I most commonly hear is due to the volume of production, Chevrolet just didn't keep up with records very well, and over time, they disappeared. Easy to see that happening when Van Nuys or Norwood shut down, or when the St Louis Corvette assembly moved to Bowling Green. My apologies for getting so for off the subject of the original post. |
