Fake paperwork is a huge red flag. Sadly, this would not be the first car that MAY be authentic but has been called into question because of fake paper. A real car with all the right numbers should stand on its own merits without faking paper work. How about the POP?

William: You said;
"The ribs on the door for the MVSS label were implemented over the July-Aug shutdown. Earliest examples are mid-August production."

My car is 08A and has the ribs. It has one of the "low" reset bdy numbers, so I believe it SHOULD have received the sticker, but it did not.

I have seen earlier ones, so assumed they implemented earlier, knowing it was coming.

Is there GM documentation on that? Hate to derail the thread. Perhaps there is a discussion over on CRG regarding the ribs?
