What's the difference between that 391 7879 shifter and a 69 Camaro shifter?

the 69-72 Nova (with console 7879 and 7875) and 68-72 Chevelle Hurst Shifter body has an offset design using a 90 degree angle. (same design but used a different offset )


the 67 to 69 Camaro shifter body has an offset design using more like a 45 degree angle

The 68-72 Nova is confusing because Hurst used a different shifter for console and non console , used the Camaro shifter for 68 Nova with console only, and used at least 4 different installation kits

the picture shows a 67-69 Camaro Hurst shifter body on the left and the 68-72 Chevelle on the right
