That it does. 3 years ago I contracted the flu. It put me in the hospital and almost killed me. A week in the hospital, then almost a month to fully recover. So now what I do is get a flu shot - first week in October. Only this time it got me earlier. Thank God this time it's not as severe. But . . . every cloud has a silver lining right? In this case my appetite has become nonexistent. So I am losing weight (which I do need to do) but I am so sore and achy the only exercise I am getting is super slow walking from my bedroom to the bathroom or to the living room. In the immortal words of my mother; "And this too shall pass." |
