I have a Backyard Buddy and one of the cheap 2000.00 lifts. They both do the same thing. The Backyard Buddy was over 4K but is probably built better. If you are not using it for commercial work, any of the cheap ones are probably fine. Be sure to get the 500.00 sliding jack.
