|    America's all-time most expensive building, the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee was a four-story mile-long U-shaped structure that was built by the US government in 1944 to develop the atom bomb. Interestingly, like Apple Park, the building housed 12,000 staff. The plant, which cost a staggering $7.1 billion in today's money, was demolished in 2013. |
