![]() Sounds like a cool guy who moved to CA in '68 as info below, car to celebrate his new job? ![]() Awesome car, who was the delivering dealer? ![]() ~ Pete . Melvin G. Tennant February 14, 1938 to July 10, 2009 ? (DD unconfirmed) Melvin G. Tennant, 71, passed away at his home in San Mateo, CA. He previously lived and attended school in Hundred, WV. He was born February 14, 1938 to Cloman J. Tennant and Frances Loraine (Laura) Tennant in Fairview, WV. Surviving is one brother, Norman Tennant of Hundred, WV and 27 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Wilbur, Vern, Kenneth, Noel, Joe and Jack and four sisters, Geraldine Freeland, Irene Freeman, Mary Tennant, and Leona Miller. Melvin spent four years (1960-1964) in the United States Army. He graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics after the army and was employed by United Airlines and worked in Washington, DC before moving to San Mateo, CA to continue his employment in 1968 until his retirement. .

We did certify the car @MCACN 2016 and it was awarded Heritage. The owner was provided score sheets which he could provide you with specifics. If he is unable to find, I can provide them with his approval. I know he was addressing some things in our report. The owner is a great guy. Vintage Certification Awards are divided into five divisions:

I have long wondered about the door latch screws. I have an original paint 67 granada gold Camaro and the screws are not painted. My thought process is the doors were painted without the latches in them leaving the latch and screws unpainted. Latch and screws installed after the doors were painted leaving them unpainted.

67 the latches were installed after paint.
68 and 69 the latches were installed before paint. My 69 Z had traces of paint on the latch (most of the paint would have fallen off, because the latch was greasy and oily) but the latch screws were painted body color. My car had never been repainted before I did it. I have had it since 75.
