If you are going to get the paint corrected...pay up and get it done right. I took one of my 993's to the best shop in town and they burned a small 2 inch spot on the door of my 30,000 mile original paint car. They paid me to have it repainted, but the car was never the same. I am very afraid of letting anyone touch my original paint cars now and would never take it to anyone but the best shop that will stand behind any damage that might occur.

----Based on your description the car could bring somewhere around $30,000, maybe a bit more. I agree with working the paint and feel that the $3000 figure could be correct. Hope this helps......Bill S
