Wash it, fix a few things.
Rip out A/C and drop in nasty "Day II" Big block?? Add "Joe Oldham" tire/wheel package and let it rip! Big mistake or just a bad idea??

Sympathetic cleanup and get mechanicals in good order and leave it alone. I bet it'd draw a crowd at almost any cars and coffee if you did it right. The 'barn find' stuff that gets left mostly alone always draws crowds.

Reminds me of a car I had about 10 years ago. 36K mile car that had a crate LT-1 installed along with a Art Carr T400 and 12 bolt. Lots of fun. The guy that bought it was going to gut in and change it to black on black with modern driver train. Kind of a shame.
