			Last time I did it I used Drano crystals I got at the box store, HD oven cleaner my still work as well . Keep an eye on it and don't leave it overnight

			HD oven cleaner and some 0000 steel wool then tap the dents out, file sand and polish. 
		
		
		
			They will oxidize fairly quickly if you don't re-anodize them- OR maybe clear powder coat, GUESS you could use catalyzed clear coat/however if it chips or scratches it will tarnish.

			you can buy a powder to mix with water. Eastwood used to sell it. I didn't have good luck with oven cleaner.
