It is a great thread Having had a few 68 and 69 Chevelles and El Caminos over the last 40 years, it is very interesting to see your restoration years ago another hard part to find was the 69 Chevelle grill I went to buy a new one from Chevy back in the 1980s and the parts guy said he can get it so I ordered it. When it came in, it was what I call the 300 Standard grill which is different then the Malibu grill. He said it was the only one he can get ( SS or non SS) The early reproduction was not very good, not sure about the repop that is sold today |
