No not at all. I normally install all my carpet last so as to not damage it by laying and walking on it if installing everything after and it is not an issue if done correctly and with some handy tools.

I have some heavy hitters keeping a close eye on me :-) I was able to reach inside the passenger side with the front clip off and the heater box off but the drivers side is not accessible. I agree good plan to re-and-resto/clean-and-re. I will fit it in. I hope to get to the interior shop today to firm up plans for the first two weeks of September. Firmed up with the exhaust shop, the roller will go for exhaust OTW to the interior shop. Ryan W31 PS: simply cleaning the car was very motivating.
