Neat car for the money but I can't tell what's going on with the driver's side body crease at the base of the sail panel. Maybe just an odd picture angle.
I do remember when you could buy a car like this out of the local paper back in the early 1990s. Might have set you back $5-6k! Link to 1969 Chevelle SS396 auction ![]()

I like the "do-it-yourself" open element air cleaner, making use of the chrome lid from the OEM air cleaner and who knows what modifications to some base to hold the filter element.
