Car has 12 bolt rear that's not original to the car. Waiting on TT picture which according to the owner, Jerry M confirmed as being original to this car.

On the bottom of the NCRS letter was hand written "Royal plum 67 SS L78"

Repaint maybe?

"It was originally a plum car,the second owner didn't like the color and painted it marlboro maroon when it was 3 years old,that is the paint that is on the car now"

Thanks Tom, that additional info was added after the original post. I like Plum better than Maroon, but still a Kool car either way.
