Are they knocking over your mailbox? That's what they used to do when I lived out there.
Never failed, nearly every year we would have at least one snow event where they would bust the mailbox post clean off level with the ground. After the 3rd one I just said forget it and got a PO box. I don't miss that stuff the least bit, lol.
