I have a few articles in older car mags,showing her next to her DH/FG prepped 1969 ZL-1 Camaro #2,but can never find any reference to what happened to her.

ZL1 #2 is alive and well. MCR did a feature on it January 2009.

Shay Nichols is rumored to have raced ZL1 #5, Dusk Blue auto. However, photos of her '69 Camaro race car show a white interior. Only two ZL1s are known to have white interiors; both exist and were never raced. None of the Fred Gibb ZL1s had a white interior.

Until that is explained, no telling what her race car was originally.

Rumor has it #5 still exists but is now a tube frame race car. Very little remains of the original car.
