232 = 23rd week of the 2nd year of the decade
Which decade? Unknown (1982 or 1992). The tire was manufactured before 2000. After 2000 they went to a 4 digit code instead of your 3. AFAIK, DOT was added to the tire's sidewall March 31, 1979 so your's can't be a 1972. Last edited by Lee Stewart; 02-02-2018 at 04:50 PM.
