Thanks Mark. I know you appreciate these cars and you've owned quite a few spectacular ones. If you look at my Vintage Certification website, you'll see how this car was the catalyst for my passion in survivor cars. I hope to have it delivered in the next few weeks.

My 06A built has a 406 block. I noticed your temp sending unit is in the intake like mine. I've heard that some of the late built 4K's the unit was in the head like 68 and up cars.
I learned a lot about these cars by going over the Bat Car when Sherman owned. It was a very correct car.

I have a pair of 67 heads dated Aug 7 & Aug 24th, the 24th dated head is drilled for the temp sender in the head and the Aug 7 head is not drilled.

When the 840 cyl head was first introduced late in the '67 model year there was a short period that the temp sender boss was not drilled and tapped.

My heads are 840's cast E 18 7, and the temp boss is not drilled and tapped which is why its correctly installed in the intake. This is a very late 67 and very few l78's were built after.
