Re: Drive Shaft info anyone? 1969 Nova BB 4-Speed M21
Don't know if this will help you. My 71' Nova has a BBC w/TH400 and newer 10 bolt (8.6"ring gear) and the driveshaft was custom made -- 51 3/4" ... TAZ

69 Nova Big Block 4-Speed Driveshaft Length
dcnova9,
Did you ever come up with an actual or clarified measurement on the 69 Big Block Nova 4-Speed Driveshaft length? Ive been searching for sometime now and no one has answers. Ive got a couple of hits but most are for Camaros. Ive had dozens and dozens of guys post info, but almost all of it is for Camaro. Theres also variations on yoke lengths that too make a difference, but that has also yet to be verified on the Nova. Ive been told and shown a picture that its 53-3/4" on U-Joint center to center from a member here, but Ive also had others tell me different. So, I'm still looking for this info myself and Id like one more to verify before I'm convinced of what it should be. Thanks |
