|  1968 Nova carpet question....part 2 
			
			Do the  bucket seat runners mount on top of the carpet or are flaps cut so the nuts are covered? Or is it a combination of the 2 as it is in Corvettes? Thanks for you're help.

			I usually mount them on the top of the carpet as I have never had an original car with original carpet to compare. I have seen restoration shops cut a flap and mount to the floor. Is this for your 68 BB car. Can't remember the name of the car it was an old drag car. Jason

			Seat tracks should always be bolted directly to the seat track brackets. GM never had the tracks bolted down with the carpet under the tracks. There was a specific T shaped slit in the carpet so the tracks would always be bolted to steel.
