I have a good warranty replacement long block from a 1969 L35 stick Chevelle. The block itself is a 'CE' code with a 1972 date, and the heads and intake are the originals dated early 1969. I assume the original car must have had the short block replaced under warranty, and the dealer was able to reuse all other parts.
Complete with pan, balancer, timing cover, flywheel. Missing valve covers but otherwise all there and complete and together. The engine spins freely and the oil looked good. Looking for $900/BO picked up in the Detroit suburbs. Great restoration engine for a Chevelle, Camaro, or Nova. |

Tony
What are the dates on the heads? I was just contacted by someone in Texas looking for a 325/350 HP 396 I believe his build date was 11 B 68 and a CE would work fine All of my blocks are L78/ 375 HP Thanks Fred 610-585-4155

Fred, I am pretty sure they are January 1969.
