Car has a 7K tach and rear wheelwells are trimmed and show evidence of fender flares being there at one time although they have deteriorated and are no longer there. The front end sheetmetal has been changed out to a 73 model. Do you think Yenko might have installed LT-1 engines into Camaros like they did the Novas?

If I remember correctly, and I may not, there was some speculation that the motor was to be a built 400 small blk for a 70. There are pictures of a 70 something Camaro with supposed Yenko heritage that has a lot of what you described. Maybe somebody will post one of those pics. I've only see it. Don't have the pic. I think a couple of members here have it. It may have been a prototype. One of the deuce prototypes probably had a 6cyl in it. Never say never.
