Dave Siltman called last night and got me all wound up about racing and W31's and Cragars, and has located a few more gem parts for me in his tickle trunk. I appreciate the support from a fellow 1969 Cutlass S Sports Coupe W31 4 speed guy:-)
I would love to find a cheap "rusty but restorable" blow proof bell housing. I have a lot of experience with high velocity, heavy, rotating objects and I am a big proponent of proper guarding and the more I look at the aluminum bell housing the more I like the idea of the blow proof. As I haven't got pipes to connect the exhaust manifolds and the X pipe yet I should be able to have the new ones made to go around the BP........ I would paint it cast aluminum colour so it looks as stock as possible. Ryan
